MS ECG COURSE 2008

Welcome to my course on ECG Interpretation!  This year marks the 22nd consecutive year that I am teaching this course to UF medical students - and the FIRST year that I am making all Handout material available on-line.  You may print out this material if you desire, but it is best designed for use on your computer.

Here is the 2008 MS ECG Course Schedule ( - last revised 4-25-08 - )

You should have received (or will very shortly receive) from Dr. Hernandez a complimentary copy of both my ECG Pocket Brain book (4th Edition/blue cover) and my 12-Lead ECG Practice Exercises with Explained Answers (white cover).  It is my pleasure to GIFT you these books for this course.  In addition - I am providing you with a user-friendly linked & bookmarked ECG pdf file that incorporates the content from both of these books (and much more!).

Here is my ECG-pb-practice-pdf File

Be sure (!) to download this ECG pdf file onto your desktop, as the file is quite large and may otherwise not function well.  It's a wonderful file (in my admittedly 100%-biased opinion) - as it will allow you to instantly navigate on your computer through the ECG PB book, and ECG Practice Exercises (which are the Homework Assignments) - plus so much more!  (Please give me Feedback on how you do or do not like this file!).  On most computers, if you RIGHT click on the link - you will see an option allowing you to DOWNLOAD the linked file - and this should copy the file to your desktop!  Be sure you open the file with Adobe Reader (version 7.0 or later) - or else the links may not work . . .

Below are the pdf file HANDOUTS for each of my ECG Talks.  (Remember that by clicking on the HOME key, you instantly return to  the 1st = HOME page, which has all of the links on it!)

I hope you enjoy my course!

P.S. Some of these pdf files read best in "Full Screen Mode" (under VIEW  - "Control-L" is the shortcut).  Depending on how fancy your computer is, by rapidly advancing the slides - some phenomena (such as the sequence of ventricular activation for the bundle branch blocks) may almost look like a moving picture . . . .

FINAL NOTE- Please keep in mind that I intentionally did NOT give you detailed Handouts on the ECG Practice Exercises, because these are included in the ECG-pb-practice-pdf File.
